How the Atmel AT88SC (CryptoMemory) works
The Atmel AT88SC (CryptoMemory) is a 13.56 MHz high-frequency contactless credential read over the ISO/IEC 14443 air interface. The Atmel AT88SC (CryptoMemory) is genuine Atmel silicon — data structure Secure EEPROM with 64-bit mutual authentication + stream encryption; 1-8 Kbit user memory in 4-8 password/key-gated zones (CryptoMemory) — the same chip platform the major lock, transit, hotel and payment systems specify.
We stock it as an encodable blank, supplied unprogrammed or pre-encoded to your specification, so your access-control system, card bureau or application writes it with your own data and keys — exactly as you would chips ordered through the Atmel distribution channel, at a fraction of the price.
