The Dormakaba Confidant / Quantum (Plus EV2 / UL-C / DESFire EV3) is a 13.56 MHz high-frequency contactless credential read over the ISO/IEC 14443 air interface. Its data structure is Confidant-family multi-format encoding. When you present a credential, the reader decodes that exact structure and passes it to your access-control panel as a card number it recognises.
Because the Dormakaba Confidant / Quantum (Plus EV2 / UL-C / DESFire EV3) is a secured smart credential, it is designed so the encryption keys stay under your control. We supply compatible blank credentials built on the matching Genuine NXP MIFARE DESFire EV3 / Plus platform, ready for your access-control system or integrator to enrol exactly as it would credentials ordered through the original vendor's channel.
