The HID iCLASS Elite (High Security / custom key) is a 13.56 MHz high-frequency contactless credential read over the ISO/IEC 14443 air interface. Its data structure is ISO 15693 Picopass; site-specific Elite (HID custom) 3DES key set, diversified per card. When you present a credential, the reader decodes that exact structure and passes it to your access-control panel as a card number it recognises.
