How the compatible Indala/Kantech KFS 32-bit (Kantech Secure Format) works
The Indala/Kantech KFS 32-bit (Kantech Secure Format) is a 125 kHz low-frequency proximity credential — the band most legacy prox readers use. Its data structure is 32-bit Kantech Secure Format (KSF): 8-bit site + 16-bit card on Indala PSK carrier (distinct from ioProx XSF FSK protocol). When you present a credential, the reader decodes that exact structure and passes it to your access-control panel as a card number it recognises.
