The Mul-T-Lock SMARTair / i-max (Mifare Classic/Ultralight/DESFire/iCLASS) is a 13.56 MHz high-frequency contactless credential read over the ISO/IEC 14443 air interface. Its data structure is SMARTair encoding; multi-format (Classic encode-friendly, DESFire/iCLASS keyed). When you present a credential, the reader decodes that exact structure and passes it to your access-control panel as a card number it recognises.
Because the Mul-T-Lock SMARTair / i-max (Mifare Classic/Ultralight/DESFire/iCLASS) is a secured smart credential, it is designed so the encryption keys stay under your control.
