How the compatible Salto 1K / 4K / XS4 (SALTO Space SVN) works
The Salto 1K / 4K / XS4 (SALTO Space SVN) is a 13.56 MHz high-frequency contactless credential read over the ISO/IEC 14443 air interface. Its data structure is SALTO SPACE SVN data-on-card sector encoding on Mifare Classic 1K/4K, DESFire, or Ultralight C. When you present a credential, the reader decodes that exact structure and passes it to your access-control panel as a card number it recognises.
Because the Salto 1K / 4K / XS4 (SALTO Space SVN) is a secured smart credential, it is designed so the encryption keys stay under your control. We supply compatible blank credentials built on the matching Genuine NXP MIFARE Classic 4K platform, ready for your access-control system or integrator to enrol exactly as it would credentials ordered through the original vendor's channel.
