How the compatible Vanderbilt ACT (contactless smart-card CSN / sector) works
The Vanderbilt ACT (contactless smart-card CSN / sector) is a 13.56 MHz high-frequency contactless credential read over the ISO/IEC 14443 air interface. Its data structure is ACT smart-card sector data or CSN; ACTpro reader reads ACT sector data and any contactless smart-card serial. When you present a credential, the reader decodes that exact structure and passes it to your access-control panel as a card number it recognises.
