How the compatible Ving DESFire 4K works
The Ving DESFire 4K is a 13.56 MHz high-frequency contactless credential read over the ISO/IEC 14443 air interface. Its data structure is Ving encoding on NXP DESFire 4K; AES-secured. When you present a credential, the reader decodes that exact structure and passes it to your access-control panel as a card number it recognises.
Because the Ving DESFire 4K is a secured smart credential, it is designed so the encryption keys stay under your control. We supply compatible blank credentials built on the matching Genuine NXP MIFARE DESFire EV1 platform, ready for your access-control system or integrator to enrol exactly as it would credentials ordered through the original vendor's channel.
