The Hitag2 / Hitag1 / Hitag S (LF crypto) is a 125 kHz low-frequency proximity credential — the band most legacy prox readers use. The Hitag2 / Hitag1 / Hitag S (LF crypto) is genuine NXP silicon — data structure Hitag2 = 48-bit crypto (Crypto1-like) / password mode; HitagS 256/2048; Hitag-µ; Transponder pages (UID + crypto + config) — the same chip platform the major lock, transit, hotel and payment systems specify.
We stock it as an encodable blank, supplied unprogrammed or pre-encoded to your specification, so your access-control system, card bureau or application writes it with your own data and keys — exactly as you would chips ordered through the NXP distribution channel, at a fraction of the price.
